Materials

Are the pearls real?
No. All our pearls are faux (imitation) pearls. That's how we keep pieces under $40.

Is it real opal?
No. Our opal-effect stones and beads are synthetic, made to give that soft, milky shimmer.

Is it sterling silver or real gold?
We describe our metal as gold tone, silver tone or rose-gold tone. We don't claim sterling silver or gold unless we've verified the metal ourselves. If a supplier lists a piece as 925 sterling silver, the product page says so and that we are checking it on our own sample; until we have seen the 925 stamp, we describe it as silver tone.

Are the stones diamonds?
No. They're crystal-look or sparkling accent stones (glass, acrylic or cubic zirconia), not diamonds.

Is it hypoallergenic or nickel-free?
Our suppliers don't state this in a way we can verify, so we don't claim it. If you have a metal sensitivity, we'd suggest checking with us before you order.

What our material words mean

Every product page uses the same words. Here is exactly what each one means.

  • Faux pearl: a glass or resin bead with a pearl-like coating. Not a natural or cultured pearl.
  • Opal-effect / moonstone-effect: glass or resin made to look like opal or moonstone. Not the natural stone.
  • Crystal-effect / crystal-look: faceted glass or cubic zirconia. Not quartz crystal, and not diamond.
  • Gold tone / silver tone / rose-gold tone: a colored plating over a base metal (brass, copper, alloy or stainless steel, stated on each product page where we know it). Not solid gold, and not sold as sterling silver unless the product page says we have confirmed it.
  • Base metal / alloy: the metal under the plating. Plating wears with water, sweat and perfume, which is why every Care line says to keep pieces dry.

Care

Keep your jewelry dry: take it off before showering, swimming or the gym. Put perfume and lotion on first, then your jewelry. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and store pieces flat or in a pouch so chains don't tangle and stones don't scratch.

Shipping

US shipping is free on every order, no minimum. We ship within the US only. Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days.

  • Pieces that ship from the US: usually delivered in 3 to 7 business days after processing.
  • Pieces that ship from our partner warehouse overseas: usually delivered in 8 to 12 business days after processing.

Each product page says where that piece ships from, under Details. If you order pieces from both, your order may arrive in two parcels; you never pay shipping twice.

Discounts

Buy 2, save 10%. Buy 3 or more, save 20%. Mix and match any pieces; the discount is applied automatically at checkout, no code needed.

Returns

Not for you? Send it back unworn within 30 days of delivery. Damaged or wrong item? We'll replace or refund it, no return needed. See our return policy.
